Many of the pieces in The Pieces Collection inventory are vintage or previously owned and have been used and loved over time. Signs of age, wear, patina, and other imperfections are part of what makes these pieces unique. We do our best to note any condition issues that we believe go beyond normal wear for a piece of its age.

Photographs are considered part of each item’s description. Please review all photos carefully before purchasing, and feel free to contact us with any questions about a piece or its condition. We select our pieces for their character, color, composition, and overall appeal. Unless specifically stated in the listing, The Pieces Collection does not guarantee the authenticity, attribution, artist, signature, date, age, provenance, or origin of any artwork. Any information we provide is based on the information available to us at the time of purchase or sale.

We make every effort to photograph and represent our pieces as accurately as possible. Please keep in mind that colors may vary depending on lighting, photography, and the settings of your computer, tablet, or mobile device. We cannot guarantee that the color displayed on your screen will exactly match the piece in person.

 

Vintage and previously owned pieces are lightly cleaned or dusted as needed but are not professionally cleaned or restored unless specifically noted in the listing.

Frames may be vintage, original to the artwork, or newer. Unless otherwise stated, framed artwork is sold with the frame in its existing condition. Vintage frames may show age, wear, chips, scratches, repairs, or other imperfections consistent with their age.
Some pieces may retain their original hanging wire, hardware, or other fittings. Because older hardware can weaken over time, we recommend inspecting and, when appropriate, replacing existing hanging hardware before installation. The Pieces Collection is not responsible for damage resulting from the use of existing or improperly installed hanging hardware.
Measurements are provided as accurately as possible but may vary slightly. Please confirm that the dimensions, condition, framing, and other details of a piece are suitable for your space and needs before purchasing.
